International friendlies - Oscar on target as Brazil beat France

International friendly, Porto Alegre - Brazil 3 (Oscar 54, Hernanes 84, Lucas Moura 90 pen) France 0

Brazil wrapped up their Confederations Cup preparation with a 3-0 victory against France in Porto Alegre.
Strikes in the second-half from Oscar, Hernanes and Lucas secured the victory ahead of the tournament which kicks off next week.
It was Didier Deschamps’s side who created the best chance of the opening exchanges with Joshua Guilavogui failing to convert from less than 12 yards.
Mathieu Valbuena whipped in a dangerous free-kick and the defender had the goal facing him, but nodded wide of the near post to keep the scores level.
Eight minutes after the restart, Brazil opened the scoring with a sweet, counter-attacking move.
Fred broke clear on the attack with few French challengers in sight and he found the on-rushing Oscar who composed himself, before tucking into the corner.
The Chelsea midfielder almost had his seventh international goal seconds later, as his cute flick at the front post missed the opposite corner by a few inches.
The 21-year-old knows Porto Alegre having spent his teenage years at Internacional and he was jeered by some of the Gremio supporters inside the stadium.
And his replacement, Fernando, was jeered by another section due to his Gremio ties.
But the home support were soon united in urging on another Brazilian goal after Hugo Lloris produced an excellent double-stop from Fred and Neymar on 66 minutes.
Neymar had a quiet evening but had a decisive part in Brazil’s second goal midway through the half.
Lucas Moura picked out the Barcelona-bound attacker with a deep cross-ball, he nudged the ball into the path of Lazio’s Hernanes who finished well from the edge of the box.
Brazil added to the scoreline in stoppage time after a surging, 50-yard run from left-back Marcelo who was fouled by the tiring Debuchy inside the area.
Substitute Lucas Moura eased the ball home from 12 yards, sending Lloris the wrong way to complete the scoring.
