Old Trafford chiefs expect around £35m through their share of the expanded European TV rights deal alone
In addition, glamour ties with Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Barca saw the premium coffers ring to the tune of a further £15m.
Ticket sales and hospitality from sold-out games at the Theatre of Dreams also factored in to the mammoth £50m sum.
It again goes to show how being in Europe’s top competition is a cash maker for minted United.
A club insider said: “The games we played this season in the competition really did capture the imagination – both on and off the field.
"EUROPE ISN'T EVERYTHING"
“It’s obviously a big amount of cash the club have earned but, as previously demonstrated it doesn’t really have a fatal impact if we aren’t in the Champions League.
"[That was] proved when we signed Paul Pogba [for £89m in 2016].”
However, all the money in the world is not stopping them from being embroiled in a royal scrap to finish in the top four and earn qualification again.
United slipped to a horror 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Everton on Sunday - with the Toffees fighting tooth and nail for the final Europa League spot.
