Claudio Ranieri: N'Golo Kante's Future Is 'In His Own Hands'

After a tremendous season with Leicester City and a run to the Euro final with France, N'Golo Kante has been the subject of a lot of transfer speculation. While Leicester certainly hope to retain the star midfielder, it will be difficult as he is being targeted by many big clubs.

Kante was offered a new contract, but it remains to be seen if he will follow Jamie Vardy by snubbing bigger clubs to stay at Leicester. Manager Claudio Ranieri told BBC, "We offered Kante a new deal before the Euros. Now I know there are a lot of big teams interested."

Chelsea aew known to be targeting a high-profile defensive midfielder this summer, and reportedly offered £27m to Leicester for Kante.
Ranieri said that after offering him a new contract, there was nothing more Leicester could do and at this point, Kante has his "future in his hands".
