Napoli 1-3 Real Madrid: Ramos is a defender, He’s as free-scoring as a striker

Sergio Ramos comes to the rescue for Real Madrid once again, boosts his incredible goal stats

Real Madrid faced Napoli in their away leg of their Champions League last 16 tie tonight.
Los Blancos won the first leg 3-1 and were firm favourites to progress to the next round, but they were made to sweat when Dries Mertens gave the Neapolitans an early lead.
And when Cristiano Ronaldo hit the post with the goal gaping soon after, it looked like the tie was swinging in Napoli’s favour.
But then up popped their salvador.

Ramos to the Rescue

Dspite Madrid having their famed BBC frontline all available tonight, it was their wily centre half Sergio Ramos who popped up with the crucial goals.
It’s almost hard to believe Ramos is a defender: he’s as free-scoring as a striker.
Known to score free-kicks and the occasional right-footed strike, Ramos’ favourite weapon of choice is his forehead.
And he used it to devastating effect once again tonight, scoring two powerful headers to ensure Madrid progressed to the quarter-finals.
Sergio Ramos has now scored 81 goals across all competitions for club & country.
