Get excited if you are a Manchester United fan because your club is going to sign Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale this summer.
Well that is according to the Sun anyway who claim that the Glazer family have given new manager David Moyes the go-ahead to break the world record transfer fee and splash out £85 million on either player.
Ronaldo's future in particular is being speculated on across all the papers after he tweeted on Thursday: "All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid is false."
A return to Old Trafford for the Portuguese superstar would be United's preference but the Sun says "if Ronaldo signs a new deal at Real, Moyes is set to splash a record £85million to land Tottenham’s double Footballer of the Year Bale."
The paper adds: "United’s American owners are determined the club will continue to be a major European force despite Fergie’s retirement."
The Mirror also claims the odds are shortening on a Ronaldo return to Manchester but they speculate on a different method on how the deal might happen.
They are claiming that Ronaldo's plan is see out the remaining two years of his Real contract, and then take a £60m signing bonus as a free agent.
"It seems Ronaldo wishes to remain master of his own destiny and that he will force Real to accept his terms," reports the paper.
If United manage to pull off either coup it would certainly be the deal of the summer but another one that would be close behind could be Edinson Cavani moving to other side of town and joiningManchester City.
Talks are already underway about that deal – according to Cavani's mum.
"Edi is in talks with Manchester City and Real Madrid," Mrs Cavani told Uruguayan radio in quotes picked up by the Sun and the Daily Mail.
"Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has spoken about the possibility of discussions with Chelsea but there is nothing definite with them at the moment.
"We will know more in 15 to 20 days. There are so many voices, and when something happens I will be the first to know."
All these City moves are being made without a manager but the Mirror reveals why Manuel Pellegrini's appointment has not yet been confirmed despite the Chilean having agreed a three-year £15 million deal.
The paper says that Pellegrini has not been paid by Malaga for two months and if that happens for a third month then he can walk away from the club for free and City can avoid paying the £3.2 million compensation release clause in his contract.
Some other rumours: Jose Mourinho has moved a step closer to landing Dutch wonderkid Marco van Ginkel after Ajax admitted: 'We can't compete with Chelsea.'
